Summer Vacation To-Do List

I’ll soon be enjoying a three-week reprieve from graduate courses, tutoring and work. In my new found free time, I plan to do the following:

  • Sleep. Sleep helps my brain work and keeps me from burning out.
  • Read Mike Rose’s Possible Lives (along with all of the other books on my list)
  • Fantasize about doing the following: Applying for a Fulbright, writing a children’s book, making homemade chocolate croissants… The last item on this list will most likely be completed over the course of the break.
  • Catch up on TeacherLingo blogs.
